Services Performed
- P0456. SMOKED EVAP SYSTEM WITH NO LEAKS FOUND. GAS CAP FEELS LIKE IT DOES NOT TIGHTEN VERY WELL. SUGGEST TO REPLACE GAS CAP AND RECHECK FOR CODES.
- WIPERS WOULD INTERMITTENTLY STOP WORKING DUE TO A FAULTY WIPER MOTOR. FOUND CODES B1875, B2332, U1041, U1262. THESE CODES ARE FOR PROBLEM WITH TILT STEERING WHEEL AND TURN/HAZARD SWITCH CIRCUIT. THE WIPER SWITCH IS PART OF THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. TILT WHEEL WOULD HAVE PROBLEMS WHEN PUSHING DOWN. CAN MOVE WIRES ON COLUMN AND TILT WOULD WORK GOOD. REMOVED COLUMN COVERS AND COULD NOT FIND ANY WIRE PROBLEMS. MOST LIKELY BAD CONNECTION AT TURN/HAZARD SWITCH. SECURED WIRES AND RECHECKED. SEEMS TO BE WORKING GOOD AT THIS TIME. ELECTRICAL TAPE ON WIPER MOTOR CONNECTOR IS HOLDING CONNECTOR TOGETHER. THERE IS NO BAD CONNECTION AT WIPER CONNECTOR AND TAPE IS SUFFICIENT AT HOLDING CONNECTOR TOGETHER AND SHOULD NOT CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS.
- SHIFTER CABLE MOVES FREELY. ADJUSTED CABLE AND SHIFTER FEELS A LITTLE BETTER. SHIFT LEVER ON TRANSMISSION IS SPRING LOADED AND YOU CAN FEEL THAT WHEN SHIFTING INTO PARK. THAT PART IS INTERNAL IN THE TRANSMISSION AND CAN NOT BE ADJUSTED. OIL LEAK AT BOTTOM OF TIMING COVER AND FROM SEALS AT VVT OIL CONTROL SOLENOIDS ON VALVE COVERS.
- CAN HEAR A SMALL SQUEAL WITH LIGHT BRAKING AROUND 30 MPH. SOUNDS LIKE FRONT AND REAR ON BOTH SIDE. NO OTHER NOISES HEARD AT THIS TIME. FRONT AND REAR BRAKES HAVE OVER 90% LEFT. WILL NEED TO REPLACE PADS AND ROTORS TO GET RID OF NOISE.
- TIMING COVER &/OR GASKET – Remove & Replace
- OIL FILTER ADAPTOR GASKET – Remove & Replace
- BIG3 – FULL SYNTHETIC
- WIPER MOTOR – Remove & Replace
