- CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS NOT ON UPON ARRIVAL. NO CODES FOUND IN THE PCM. THERE ARE BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW / HIGH CODES IN ALL THE OTHER MODULES. BATTERY WAS DEAD UPON ARRIVAL. BATTERY IS A "TRIPLE A" BATTERY WITH DATE STICKER OF 11/24. CHARGED BATTERY AND TESTED. BATTERY, STARTER, AND ALTERNATOR ALL TESTED GOOD. CLEARED ALL CODES. CODES B16AB-15, B16B7-15 WOULD RETURN WITH A 3.5A DRAW FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INTERMITTENTLY. FOUND AFTERMARKET LED BULBS IN CARGO LAMP AND HIGH MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT WERE CAUSING A SHORT TO GROUND IN THE BCM WHICH WAS CAUSING THE DASH CLUSTER TO RANDOMLY TURN ON WITH THE IGNITION OFF. REPLACED WITH CORRECT BULBS, DASH CLUSTER IS NO LONGER TURNING ON WITH THE IGNITION OFF.

- DURING TEST DRIVE, THE FRONT BRAKES SQUEALED AND THE REAR BRAKES MADE A SCRUBBING NOISE ON THE 1ST COUPLE STOPS (2-3) NOISES WENT AWAY AFTER A FEW STOPS. NOISES MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY RAINY MISTY CONDITIONS. REAR BRAKES HAVE 90% OR MORE PAD LIFE REMAINING. FRONT BRAKES HAVE 30 – 40% PAD LIFE REMAINING.

BATTERY TEST AT 22% HEALTH. LEFT REVERSE LIGHT IS OUT. WIPERS STREAKING. RIGHT REAR AND LEFT FRONT TIRES HAVE 3/32NDS AND ARE GETTING CHOPPY. TIMING BELT IS DUE AT 150K OR EVERY 10 YEARS.
- COOLANT LEVEL ONLY SLIGHTLY LOW. NO LEAKS FOUND AT THIS TIME. TOPPED OFF COOLANT AND MONITOR LEVEL. A/C COMPRESSOR OPERATES NORMALLY AT THIS TIME. AFTER ENGINE RUNS FOR A WHILE THE A/C COMPRESSOR WILL STOP WORKING AND ENGINE STARTS TO OVERHEAT. FOUND THAT RADIATOR FAN ASSEMBLY WILL NOT WORK. FAN HAS LOTS OF PLAY AND MOST LIKELY MAKES NOISE WHEN IT RUNS. SUGGEST TO REPLACE RADIATOR FAN ASSEMBLY.

FRONT BRAKE ROTORS DO HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF HEAT MARKS ON THEM. REAR BRAKES HAVE 50-60% LIFE LEFT. ROTORS HAVE SOME HEAT MARKS ON THEM.

- WIPERS WOULD INTERMITTENTLY STOP WORKING DUE TO A FAULTY WIPER MOTOR. FOUND CODES B1875, B2332, U1041, U1262. THESE CODES ARE FOR PROBLEM WITH TILT STEERING WHEEL AND TURN/HAZARD SWITCH CIRCUIT. THE WIPER SWITCH IS PART OF THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. TILT WHEEL WOULD HAVE PROBLEMS WHEN PUSHING DOWN. CAN MOVE WIRES ON COLUMN AND TILT WOULD WORK GOOD. REMOVED COLUMN COVERS AND COULD NOT FIND ANY WIRE PROBLEMS. MOST LIKELY BAD CONNECTION AT TURN/HAZARD SWITCH. SECURED WIRES AND RECHECKED. SEEMS TO BE WORKING GOOD AT THIS TIME. ELECTRICAL TAPE ON WIPER MOTOR CONNECTOR IS HOLDING CONNECTOR TOGETHER. THERE IS NO BAD CONNECTION AT WIPER CONNECTOR AND TAPE IS SUFFICIENT AT HOLDING CONNECTOR TOGETHER AND SHOULD NOT CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS.
- SHIFTER CABLE MOVES FREELY. ADJUSTED CABLE AND SHIFTER FEELS A LITTLE BETTER. SHIFT LEVER ON TRANSMISSION IS SPRING LOADED AND YOU CAN FEEL THAT WHEN SHIFTING INTO PARK. THAT PART IS INTERNAL IN THE TRANSMISSION AND CAN NOT BE ADJUSTED. OIL LEAK AT BOTTOM OF TIMING COVER AND FROM SEALS AT VVT OIL CONTROL SOLENOIDS ON VALVE COVERS.
- CAN HEAR A SMALL SQUEAL WITH LIGHT BRAKING AROUND 30 MPH. SOUNDS LIKE FRONT AND REAR ON BOTH SIDE. NO OTHER NOISES HEARD AT THIS TIME. FRONT AND REAR BRAKES HAVE OVER 90% LEFT. WILL NEED TO REPLACE PADS AND ROTORS TO GET RID OF NOISE.
