DURING VISUAL INSPECTION FILTERS LOOKS TO BE IN GREAT SHAPE. OIL LEVEL WAS FULL. UNDER VEHICLE LOOKED GREAT. SUSPENSION WAS TIGHT AT THIS TIME. TIRES HAVE 9/32 ALL THE WAY AROUND. BRAKES LOOK TO STILL HAVE OVER 60% LIFE LEFT FRONT AND REAR. REAR BRAKE OUTBOARD PAD HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF MORE WEAR THAN THE INBOARD PAD DUE TO VEHICLE HAVING A ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE THAT ENGAGES EVER TIME YOU PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK. VEHICLE LOOKS TO BE UP TO DATE ON ALL SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE FOR THIS TIME. OVER ALL EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD ON THIS VEHICLE AT THIS TIME.

CYLINDER #2 HAD NO BUILD UP AND LOOKED CLEAN. ALL PLUGS ON BANK 2 (CYL#4,5,6) LOOKED GOOD. WILL REPLACE ALL SPARK PLUGS ON BANK 1 UNDER WARRANTY. NEED TO OBSERVE HOW LONG PLUGS LAST TO DETERMINE IF PISTON RINGS ARE CAUSING SPARK PLUGS TO GO BAD. REFER TO TSB# 13-081.

Mileage87,422Service Date3/14/2025Services Performed- FIRST TIME BRAKING IN REVERSE THERE WAS A SHORT HOWL/SQUEAL NOISE THAT SOUNDED LIKE IT CAME FROM THE REAR BRAKES. AFTER THE INITIAL BRAKING IN REVERSE THE NOISE WENT AWAY. WAS ABLE TO GET THE BRAKES TO MAKE THE NOISE AGAIN BRAKING WHILE ACCELERATING IN REVERSE. AT TIMES IT SOUNDED LIKE THE FRONT, AND AT TIMES IT SOUNDED LIKE THE REAR. FRONT BRAKES ARE BRAND NEW AND HARDWARE WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED. RIGHT FRONT BACKING PLATE WAS DRAGGING ON THE ROTOR. REAR BRAKE SHOES HAVE 60-70% SHOE LIFE REMAINING. SUGGEST REPLACING FRONT BRAKE HARDWARE, CLEAN AND ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKES AND RESURFACE DRUMS. ALSO NOTICED A CRUNCHING NOISE FROM LEFT FRONT WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS. FOUND LEFT FRONT STRUT SPRING HAD RUSTED TROUGH AND IS BROKEN. SUGGEST TO REPLACE FRONT STRUTS.

SOME TRACES OF OIL WERE FOUND ON BACK SIDE OF BLOCK UNDER THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. CLEANED OFF THE AREAS WITH OIL AND TEST DROVE VEHICLE FOR 15 MILES ON THE HIGH WAY. AFTER TEST DRIVE NO OBVIOUS OIL LEAKS WERE FOUND. OIL LEVEL IS FULL AND OIL LOOKS NEW. POSSIBLE VALVE COVER GASKET LEAKING, OR OIL WAS SPILLED AT THE OIL FILL DURING OIL CHANGE. DURING TEST DRIVE, VEHICLE MAINTAINED ACCEPTABLE TEMPERATURES. COOLANT LEVEL IS FULL. VEHICLE HAS GOOD HEAT, AND COOLING FAN WORKS ON ALL 3 SPEEDS. NO PROBLEMS FOUND WITH ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM. RAN FULL SYSTEM SCAN TO CHECK FOR TROUBLE CODES. NO CODES FOUND.
